Busy busy

I haven't posted since the end of June as I've been busy working, saving, preparing and hoarding things for university. In fact, ever since we started our FMP in Foundation I've been slacking on posts. Sorry, normal service will probably resume when I'm all sorted and settled at MMU making weird things out of weird things.

Here is some stuff I did this summer: a drawing of an ankle murdering razor, a hooded poncho I made from bin bags for Parklife Festival and the unfinished cardboard chandelier I made as part of my FMP.

BEGIN

This was made as a joke with a friend about literary puns, this is probably one of the most obvious puns in the world.

Battles Gloss Drop/ Nattles Chip Shop

Saw Battles the other night. Was compelled to do this after I had a chippy tea.

Stuck in a rut

Brain a bit jammed today so this is some old stuff mashed together with a new font I downloaded, and a new found love for 0% hardness paint tool. (I just want to make 1000's of rubbishy Erol Alkan posters now)

Sleep

I was lying around in bed for a while this morning and had a mental image of this, the light in my room is a little bluish early in the morning, everything is bathed in this robin egg blue light, it's lovely. It motivated me to get out of bed and draw for a while, I really like the outcome, though it's a little too computer-y for my tastes, maybe if I'd done it in ink and water colour, I'd prefer it. Though I like that my line is less confident in this, my hands were a bit shakey on waking so it's not as fluid and graphic as it normally is.

I really love my bedroom too much.

I'll be sad to leave this room, it's served me well, as both a haven and pit. It's just so interesting to be in. (I have a boring, empty life) Here are some photos which have been used in various 'photography projects' or work, somehow I manage to incorporate it into every project.
